Summary: We are looking for a skilled Senior Mechatronics Engineer to design and develop electro-mechanical systems, with a focus on Reverse Vending Machines (RVM). The ideal candidate will use CAD tools like SolidWorks and EPLAN to create, review, and release mechanical and electrical specifications, while leading key quality and manufacturing optimization projects.


Tasks:

  • Create, review, and release detailed mechanical and electrical specifications for components and assemblies of Reverse Vending Machines (RVM).
  • Develop electro-mechanical systems using CAD software; create and review specifications for RVM components.
  • Oversee mechanical and electrical drawings for fabrication and assembly; release BOMs and component specs for production.
  • Lead Design for Manufacturing (DFM) activities; support the development of engineering standards, DFX, DFMEA, and design validation.
  • Coordinate design changes with manufacturing teams; resolve technical challenges with cross-functional collaboration.
  • Stay updated on new technologies and methods, sharing knowledge across teams.

Job requirements


Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (or related field).
  • A minimum of 6+ years of experience in mechanical and electrical engineering design.
  • Proficiency in CAD software, particularly SolidWorks and EPLAN.
  • Experience with Lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, or other structured problem-solving methodologies.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and effectively.
  • Proven technical, analytical, and creative thinking abilities.
  • Good knowledge of both written and spoken German and English.
