Job description

  • Design, develop, and enhance electro-mechanical systems.
  • Create mechanical design specifications including 3d models for parts, assemblies or complete products using computer-aided design programs and produce Engineering BoMs
  • Adhere to and support Envipco Engineering processes.
  • Collaborate closely with other departments, such as software development, manufacturing, purchasing and commercial teams, to ensure integrated project outcomes 
  • Lead Design for Manufacturing (DFM) activities and other quality-oriented projects.
  • Apply structured problem-solving tools and methodologies.
  • Provide input for process development.
  • Coordinates design changes based on manufacturing challenges.
  • Offer engineering design support in collaboration with other teams to resolve manufacturing challenges.
  • Extend mentorship to new engineers
  • Stay current with new technologies, methods, and techniques.
  • Support and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred, Mechatronics will be considered.  
  • 12 years of experience in Engineering Design, with proficiency in Solidworks 3d and AutoCAD 2d 
  • Experience working independently but also enjoy working in a team environment. 
  • Strong technical, analytical, and creative thinking skills. 
  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, and structured problem-solving methods. 
  • Have very good English language skills. As a second language Romanian or German will be A PLUS.
