Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, communicate and execute a robust and global category strategy
• Drive and execute Annual and Strategic Plan with supporting strategies
• Lead supplier assessment, selection, and development process across multiple categories, internal teams, and regions, and create longer-term supplier selection strategies
• Researches and benchmarks current category market conditions/trends, developing technologies, supply chain capacity/capability, product knowledge, customer requirements and supply/demand challenges.
• Accountable for results of the categories Electronics, Harnessing, Electrical sub-assemblies and other related categories in terms of strategy, cost savings, direction and people management
• Ensures performance meets global and regional planning requirements
• Meets with senior stakeholder business executives to discuss impact of supply chain strategic development
• Establishes a strong network and fosters collaboration with customers, suppliers, key stakeholders and team members.
• Responsible for the procurement of contracts including the management of cost, schedule and performance parameters. Developing contract specifications, work statements, and terms & conditions.
• Improve working capital thru payment term extensions, payment cycle optimization, vendor managed inventory (VMI), inventory and lead time reductions
• Identify and minimize any risks in the supply chain and inform Senior Management of the risks and mitigation actions being taken.
• Maintains suppliers performance database and report metrics to Supply Chain Management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required preferably in Business, Finance, Supply Chain or related field. MBA or Masters of Supply Chain is strongly preferred
  
• Experience in Electronics, Harnessing, Electrical sub-assemblies procurement markets
  
• Excellent negotiation, contracting and supplier management skills
• Have proven ability to interface with supplier and internal stakeholders as and when required
• Expertise in Procurement areas and processes
• Have analytical and market research skills
• Ownership and accountability for areas of responsibility
• Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization
• Fluent in English (company standard language). Romanian language is plus.
• Customer-oriented, pro-active, and willing to take responsibility
• Positive ‘Can-Do’ attitude, high energy, strong interpersonal and communication skills
• EU driving license holder (able to travel globally)
