Envipco is the only company in Romania that locally manufactures smart reverse vending machines for collecting beverage containers, with production based in Alba County.
Together with a dedicated nationwide service and maintenance team, the company supports the local economy by collaborating with Romanian suppliers and distributing its equipment across European markets.

For our team in Sebeș (Alba County), we are looking for a:

Product Data Specialist

Position Summary

The Product Data Specialist is responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing product-related data across systems to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance. This role supports engineering, operations, and sales by overseeing documentation processes, engineering changes, and ERP data integrity. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, attention to detail, and the ability to work cross-functionally in a dynamic, global environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

  1. Product Data & Documentation Management

·       Maintain and update product documentation, including technical drawings, manuals, and specifications.

·       Archive outdated documents and ensure new versions are uploaded and distributed appropriately.

·       Ensure compliance with data security and document control regulations.

2. Engineering Change (EC) Coordination

·       Coordinate and monitor Engineering Change requests (ECRs) and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).

·       Review ECs for accuracy and completeness before processing.

·       Distribute approved ECs to relevant stakeholders and systems.

3. ERP & Bill of Materials (BoM) Management

·       Create and maintain part items and BoMs in ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365).

·       Define and update item attributes including storage dimensions, financial data, and planning parameters.

·       Collaborate with engineering and supply chain teams to gather and validate item data.

 

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Training

·       Distribute engineering and product data to internal teams as needed.

·       Assist in onboarding and training new personnel on documentation and ERP processes.

·       Support continuous improvement initiatives and lean practices.

5. Project Work & Global Collaboration

·       Participate in cross-functional and international projects related to product data, documentation, and system improvements.

·       Collaborate with global teams across Europe and the USA.

·       Travel internationally on occasion to support project implementation, training, or audits.

Job requirements

  • Engineering degree, or related field; or 3–5+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.

  • Must be proficient in English, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate across global teams and manage documentation.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems (preferably Microsoft Dynamics F&SO).

  • Experience with configuration management, BoM creation, and technical documentation.

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

  • Familiarity with document control systems and CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks).

  • Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

  • Experience in a LEAN or continuous improvement environment is a plus.

  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally as needed.

 

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

·       Primarily office-based with occasional visits to the manufacturing floor.

·       Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.

·       May require use of personal protective equipment (PPE) when on the shop floor.
