Job description
- Design, develop, and enhance electro-mechanical systems.
- Create mechanical design specifications including 3d models for parts, assemblies or complete products using computer-aided design programs and produce Engineering BoMs
- Adhere to and support Envipco Engineering processes.
- Collaborate closely with other departments, such as software development, manufacturing, purchasing and commercial teams, to ensure integrated project outcomes
- Lead Design for Manufacturing (DFM) activities and other quality-oriented projects.
- Apply structured problem-solving tools and methodologies.
- Provide input for process development.
- Coordinates design changes based on manufacturing challenges.
- Offer engineering design support in collaboration with other teams to resolve manufacturing challenges.
- Extend mentorship to new engineers
- Stay current with new technologies, methods, and techniques.
- Support and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred, Mechatronics will be considered.
- 12 years of experience in Engineering Design, with proficiency in Solidworks 3d and AutoCAD 2d
- Experience working independently but also enjoy working in a team environment.
- Strong technical, analytical, and creative thinking skills.
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, and structured problem-solving methods.
- Have very good English language skills. As a second language Romanian or German will be A PLUS.
