Job description

Responsabilities:

  • Managing the purchasing, inventory, material flow, production planning and on-time delivery to customers
  • Responsible for the Sales, Inventory and Operations Plan for the plant.
  • Ensures supply chain readiness for new product launches and delivers on the Supply Chain metrics and balance between Service – Inventory – Costs
  • Proposes the department's annual budget plan for approval and control over the department's budget.
  • Coordination, counting (cycle) and optimization of the inventory levels and material movements within the internal / external warehouses, production floor and shipment areas.
  • Plan and implement the overall supply chain strategy for the factory including steering on KPI’s in collaboration with the operations team and the global supply chain team.
  • Work cross functional with Sales, Finance, Engineering, Operations to deal with and avoid / reduce excess and obsolete inventory.
  • Ensure accuracy of the Info Record and Source List data in alignment with MRP parameters, incl. Min/Max, MOQ, Price, and LT.
  • Identify process bottleneck and implement solutions in a timely manner.
  • Contributes to the continuous improvement of the factory's performance constantly identifies opportunities to eliminate losses and proposes solutions to improve supply chain activity and the factory.
  • Develop and implement standardized processes and training plans for the purchasing, planning and logistics function.
  • Build and maintain good relationships with suppliers.
  • Responsible for target setting, performance review and development of local supply chain team.
  • Responsible for developing a Supply Chain organization capable to meet dynamic business environment, recruit and maintain high performing team.

Job requirements

  • Previous working experience as a Supply Chain Manager for at least 7 years
  • Hands on experience with supply chain management software (such as MS Dynamics)
  • Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success
  • Team player
  • Good time management skills
  • BA in Engineering or Economics, or similar relevant field
  • Specific Supply Chain Management education like APICS CPIM and or CSCP is a plus
  • Green Belt and/or Lean expert certification is a plus
  • Fluent in English (company standard language), Romanian as native language.
  • Positive ‘Can-Do’ attitude, high energy, strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Driving license holder (able to travel across Europe)
