Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated Service Support Engineer to join our dynamic team in Europe. This role involves full ownership of new integration projects, acting as the first point of contact for technical support and problem-solving across Europe. You will work closely with the EU Support team, customers, and R&D to ensure smooth software integrations, testing, and rollout of new software versions for our systems.


Key Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of new integration projects with Envipco customers across the EU, working closely with the EU Support team and R&D.
  •  Serve as the first point of contact for Envipco customers, addressing technical queries or issues related to software integration and testing.
  • Conduct testing for new software versions, including proprietary machine software and operating systems.
  • Coordinate and support the rollout of new software releases to the field.
  • Translate customer feedback and requests into actionable tasks for the R&D team during sprint planning.
  • Analyze and resolve technical issues through telephone or remote support, collaborating with the EU Support team as needed.
  • Assist in setting up pilot tests and initiatives across Europe.
  • Gather and relay feedback from customers to help drive future improvements and enhancements to our devices.
  • Stay updated on new product developments to ensure exceptional service delivery to customers.

Job requirements

Profile

  • Degree or technical qualification in automation, software systems, or a related field.
  • Several years of experience in a software-related technical support role, ideally with both on-site and remote support experience.
  • Previous background in customer service and support is essential.
  • Some programming experience with the ability to write and execute test scripts.
  • Experienced in using scripting languages such as Bash, Python, etc.
  •  Must have hands-on experience with Linux systems and command line.
  • Clear communicator, patient, detail-oriented, and focused on solving customer issues.
  • Willingness to travel across Europe for various projects.
  • Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
