Responsabilities:
- Journal Entries: Prepare and post complex journal entries to the general ledger.
- Reconciliations: Perform regular reconciliations of balance sheet accounts (advance accounts, goods received without invoice)
- Month-End Close: Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all financial data is accurate and complete.
- Statutory Statements: Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual statutory statements D300, D394, D390, D100, SAF-T quarterly balance sheet and yearly
- balance sheet.
- Management Reports: Generate reports for management, providing insights into financial performance and key metric for local GAAP.
- Variance Analysis: Conduct variance analysis to compare actual results to budgets and forecasts, explaining discrepancies.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards (IFRS) and regulatory requirements.
- Audit Preparation: Prepare for internal and external audits, including gathering necessary documentation and responding to audit inquiries.
- Internal Controls: Maintain and improve internal controls over financial reporting.
- Review Transactions: Review accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions for accuracy and completeness.
- Aging Reports: Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding receivables and payables.
- Discrepancy Resolution: Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to vendor invoices, customer payments, and other transactional issues.
- Book Transactions: booking of fixed assets transaction into system and all the changes in fixed assets.
- Reconciliation fixed assets: reconciliation of fixed assets between general ledger and statement ledger and local accounts.
- Tax Returns: Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure timely filing.
- Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.
- Tax Planning: Support tax planning efforts to minimize tax liabilities.
- Data Integrity: Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data
Job requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a closely related discipline
- Preferably active CECCAR certification in good standing
- Preferably experience with Dynamics 365 or any other reputable ERP system
- Minimum of 3 years of managerial experience
- At least 4 years of corporate experience as a CECCAR practitioner
- Comprehensive experience in corporate tax matters
- Advanced proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office
- Highly detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and consistency
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Strong interpersonal and client service skills
- Demonstrated ability to perform effectively under tight deadlines
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and lead by example
