Job description

The successful candidate will oversee the Repair and Refurbishment departments, and all of its support functions for Envipco’s U.S. operations. Will be responsible for supplying all of Envipco’s satellite service operations with quality repaired and refurbished equipment. This position will utilize experience and expertise to solve problems, help develop and execute plans to ensure team success. Strive to have a positive impact on both the Envipco team and all outside customers. Refurbishment of returned equipment back to established standards. Set individual work assignments and priorities based on pending orders. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Must be able to successfully lead a small dynamic team and have the capacity to grow and drive that team as the company expands

  • Setting and monitoring targets to achieve goals based on the company’s growth plan. Monitoring and reporting on KPI’s to maintain key efficiencies and budgets

  • Regular and structured communication of objectives and progress

  • Prepare and ensures accurate monthly reporting to Executive Team, detailing any projects that have been in process, and any other topics as needed

  • Ensures all company Process and procedures are adhered to

  • Demonstrates and promotes a positive working culture, helps guide and develop talent.

  • Must have good understanding of basic mechanical, and electromechanical fundamentals.

  • Consistently and aggressively track workloads and performance to assure quality standards. monitor part usages and inventory levels and assure accuracy

  • Troubleshoot problems and implement quality check to assure correction

  • Additional duties as required

Job requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial management preferred but not required.  In lieu of a degree – significant experience in some combination of the following – Manufacturing Management, Materials management to include Procurement and Production Control within a Manufacturing / Service environment

  • Experience in engaging, motivating employees

  • Ability to effectively operate in any organizational structure, lead a highly dynamic team in a fast-paced environment with continuous challenges.

  • Effectively communicate across all levels of the organization

  • Excellent analytical skills, organizational skills delivering high performance

  • Ability to sponsor and lead change to improve workflow and quality

  • Ability to develop a team atmosphere, and set and maintain goals

  • Must be self-motivated and able to manage department within established guidelines

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills A MUST

  • Must be willing to work long hours as needed
