Summary:
We’re looking for a detail-oriented Production Planner responsible for managing the production order process, handling internal demands and production capacity, and ensuring accurate record-keeping. If you’re well-organized and have a solid understanding of production process, we encourage you to apply. This role involves production planning skills in order to ensure customer satisfaction and on time delivery and maintaining efficient interdepartmental communication. Strong organizational skills, ERP system knowledge, and effective communication are essential.
Responsibilities:
Data Entry and Processing:
- Accurate Data Input: Responsible of entering clients requirements data into databases, portals or spreadsheets. This includes replanning or adjusting the production requirements based on external and internal demands and capacity.
- Quality Assurance: Double-check the accuracy of data entries to prevent errors that could impact production and logistics operations. Collaborate with team members and departments to cross-verify data.
Production Monitoring:
- Documentation Review: Examine production order status (such as released production order on machine type, serial numbers, and production labels) to verify consistency and compliance.
- Real-Time Tracking: Monitor time needed for production in order to produce the released products, material availability, up-to-date BOM, and closing properly into the system of the production order. Ensure timely schedule and address any delays promptly.
Administrative Support:
- Support in creating different reports and analyzing the demands, planning and customer satisfaction
- Document Organization: Maintain organized records of production paperwork.
Job requirements
Qualifications:
- High school diploma/ equivalent or higher preferable
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Prior experience in production planning area is a plus.
