Summary
The Field Service Tech will be responsible for traveling to the retail stores to test, troubleshoot and repair our reverse vending machines (RVM). The ideal candidate would have a great work ethic and a willingness to learn new skills with provided training. This candidate would have a basic understanding in maintenance or mechanical systems with the ability to troubleshoot with root cause analysis.
Job Description
Maintain, service and repair reverse vending machine’s (RVM’s). This role will focus on conveyors, sensors, motors and other equipment. Driving between locations is a large part of the role & so a clean driving record & a love for being on the road is important.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Have the ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical components of our reverse vending machines (RVM).
- Install new RVM’s at new sites
- Provide excellent customer service to our customers and public
- Employee is required to use hands to assemble, disassemble and repair mechanical components..
- Reliable company vehicle with expenses paid.
Job requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Excellent customer service skills
- Good communication skills
- Must be self-motivated with strong prioritization skills.
- Ability to work independently after training.
- Must be able to regularly lift up to 50 lbs. and frequently push pull up to 150 lbs.
- Ability to work across a 7-day rotating roster, including weekends.
- Excellent driving skills and motor vehicle record
- Some weekends a MUST
- Must be able to read and write English.
