Jr. Power BI Developer

Join our European IT team at Envipco, a well-established company with a strong and reputable presence in the Reverse Vending Machine (RVM) industry. This role is ideal for someone who is curious, eager to learn, and passionate about working with data, reporting tools, and modern BI technologies, while contributing to solutions that make colleagues’ work simpler and more efficient every day.

Tasks:

• Support the monitoring and maintenance of Power BI datasets, reports, and dashboards connected to Dynamics 365 and other business systems.

• Assist in validating data coming from Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and related sources to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability in reports.

• Collaborate with senior BI and IT colleagues to understand data models, business processes, and reporting requirements.

• Build and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards based on defined business needs and existing data models.

• Perform basic data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement, and communicate findings clearly to stakeholders.

• Support documentation of reports, datasets, data definitions, and refresh logic.

• Assist with troubleshooting data refresh issues and report performance, escalating complex problems when needed.

• Learn and apply best practices for Power BI development, including data modeling, DAX basics, and visualization standards.

• At least 1 year of experience in data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence (academic projects, internships, or junior roles are acceptable).

• Basic to intermediate experience with Power BI, including report creation, data modeling fundamentals, and Power Query.

• Familiarity with data sources such as Dynamics 365, ERP, CRM systems, or relational databases is an advantage.

• Basic knowledge of SQL and an interest in learning DAX and advanced data modeling concepts.

• Experience working in an international or cross-functional environment is a plus.

• Good command of English and Romanian; knowledge of other European languages is an advantage.

• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and willingness to learn new tools and technologies.

• Good communication skills and a collaborative, proactive attitude.
