About the Role

This is a broad and visible role for someone who is ready to step beyond pure accounting and grow into a wider finance position. You will report directly to the Shared Service Leader Europe for day-to-day accounting, closing, statutory compliance and finance process matters. For planning, forecasting, production controlling and analytics, you will have a dotted-line reporting relationship with the Production Controller Europe. You will also work closely with the wider EU finance team and local management to ensure accurate reporting, strong business insight and continuous improvement of the local finance function.

Tasks

  • Own the daily accounting and controlling activities of Envipco Hellas SA, including review of bookkeeping, AP, AR and general accounting tasks

  • Manage timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing, including financial statements, management reports and reconciliations

  • Analyse commercial and production performance against budget, forecast and prior year

  • Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow reporting and local financial planning

  • Work on cost price calculations, production cost allocations, inventory controls and stock valuation

  • Manage intercompany reconciliations and support Group reporting requirements

  • Coordinate audit requests and support compliance with IFRS, Greek GAAP, local statutory requirements and Group policies

  • Improve local finance processes, internal controls and reporting routines

  • Act as a finance partner to local management and work with local authorities, auditors, advisors and internal stakeholders where required

Job requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting or a related field; a master’s degree is a plus

  • Around 5–7 years of relevant finance, accounting or controlling experience, preferably in a production or manufacturing environment

  • Strong understanding of accounting, month-end closing, reconciliations and financial reporting

  • Knowledge of local statutory requirements; IFRS knowledge is a strong advantage

  • Experience with cost accounting, inventory management or production controlling is preferred

  • Strong Excel skills and experience with Microsoft Dynamics or another ERP system

  • Fluent in Greek and English, with good communication and stakeholder-management skills

  • Able to work independently, take ownership and translate financial data into practical business insight

  • Proactive, hands-on and solution-oriented, with commercial awareness and a strong sense of responsibility
