About the Role
The Director Europe Finance will play a key role in ensuring the financial health, compliance, transparency, and financial management of Envipco’s production and service entities in Europe. This person will oversee the monthly closing, financial reporting, analysis, and forecasting for EU sites, as well maintaining compliance and offer insight to business and site leadership for decision-making. The role demands strong technical finance skills, leadership, ability to work across international teams, drive improvements, and alignment with Envipco’s mission and values.
Tasks
Oversee and manage the accurate and timely financial (management) reporting for internal stakeholders including monthly close and day2day accounting.
Support budgeting and forecasting processes: establish annual budgets for the respective sites, periodic updates, variance analysis, and corrective action plans when needed.
Collaborate with site leaders in Operations, Commercial, Supply chain, Headquarters, and other departments to provide drive operational efficiency and financial insights.
Improve operational and financial performance by evaluating and improving processes, leverage tools, developing insights, and effective use of finance talent.
Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards (e.g., IFRS or GAAP, depending on jurisdiction) and relevant tax laws.
Lead or support audit and tax activities including business reviews, liaising with external auditors, internal auditors and other external parties for the EU entities.
Lead, coach, and develop the finance team members; ensure skill development, growth and performance.
Job requirements
Minimum of 10+ years progressive finance experience with a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economic; Master’s or professional qualification preferred.
Hands-on experience in a multinational company and production environment or operating across countries/markets is a strong plus.
Ability to manage through change and guide others; capable to build sustainable processes and improvements.
Solid knowledge of accounting standards and familiar with IFRS or US GAAP, and Tax regulations.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, able to translate data into business and insights.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
