Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer to design and develop electrical schematics and cabinets for Reverse Vending Machines (RVMs). In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of electrical systems into production processes, as well as troubleshoot and optimize designs for efficiency, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.
Tasks:
Create and develop electrical schematics and cabinets for Reverse Vending Machines (RVMs).
Work with cross-functional teams (mechanical, software, production) to ensure the effective integration of electrical systems within overall production processes.
Provide technical support, including troubleshooting assistance for electrical issues arising in production.
Review and optimize existing electrical designs to enhance efficiency, reliability, and performance.
Ensure all electrical designs and implementations meet relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements.
Conduct rigorous testing and evaluation of electrical systems and components to ensure they meet design specifications.
Prepare detailed documentation, technical drawings, and manuals for the operation and maintenance of electrical systems.
Stay current with emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in electrical engineering.
Job requirements
Profile:
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum 4+ years of experience in electrical schematic design and working with industrial machinery.
Proficiency in CAD software and electrical design tools (EPlan is highly preferred).
Strong understanding of electrical systems, components, safety standards, and regulations.
Excellent analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues.
Effective communication skills and proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Good written and spoken proficiency in both German and English is required.
