Job description

Summary:

The Documentation Specialist is responsible for managing and updating product documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations. This role collaborates with various teams to distribute engineering information and train new personnel on documentation processes.


Tasks:

1.Engineering Change (EC) Management:

  • Coordinate and monitor ECs with interfaces, ensuring timely completion.

  • Generate and review new ECs based on legal entity requests.

  • Manage part items and the documentation vault.

  • Update and distribute electronic files post-approval.

2.ERP and Bill of Materials (BoM) Management:

  • Create and maintain part items and BoMs in the ERP system (MS Dynamics).

  • Gather item data from internal and external sources.

  • Define storage dimensions and update purchase, financial, and planning data.

3.Documentation Distribution and General Management:

  • Distribute engineering information as needed.

  • Maintain and archive engineering documentation.

  • Assist in training new personnel on documentation processes.

  • Ensure compliance with data security and document management regulations.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Job requirements

Profile:

  • Engineering Degree or 3+ years in a manufacturing/production environment.

  • Strong computer skills, proficient in MS Office and Dynamics F&SO.

  • Expertise in configuration management and BOM creation/maintenance.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and engineering design software (e.g., SolidWorks).

  • Keen attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

  • Capability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.

  • Flexibility to adapt to changing environments and requirements.

  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

  • Proven ability to build collaborative relationships across organizational levels.

  • Positive, action-oriented attitude with a strong focus on ethics and customer service.
