Position Summary:

Financial and strategic business partnering is important in any business operation as it provides financial insights, supports decision making, builds trust with stakeholders and improves operational and financial efficiency.

Reporting to the Group CFO, Envipco is looking for a Director Global FP&A to lead the Company’s financial planning processes, monthly closing cycles, and management reporting. In this role you will provide analytical support translating complex financial data into actionable business insights to the business functions, the Executive Management Team and the Board of Directors (Board).

The candidate will be a key asset in the future growth of the company and responsible for financial planning, analysis and group consolidation. You will be providing financial consulting and strategic support including board presentations, industry/peer group analysis, and new business opportunities. Supporting directly the CFO and CEO, you will apply your exceptional communication skills to convey complex financial insights to various stakeholders across the organization.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly financial forecasting cycles including operating plan and modelling tools.

  • Oversee and manage the monthly and quarterly closing process, and build/present quarterly and monthly management reports, including those for market releases.

  • Analyse current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses, capital expenditures, working capital and cash flows

  • Act as financial business partner to functional leaders leveraging financial models and analyses to support commercial, operational and strategic initiatives.

  • Develop, maintain and monitor weekly and monthly performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance.

  • Enhance cash flow planning and working capital management; create and implement daily visual management on key performance indicators to enable quick decision making.

  • Own and harmonize financial and operational performance by driving process efficiencies and technology integration including use of business intelligence tools and dashboard.

  • Analyse complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes.

  • Prepare presentations to Board of Directors and the Executive Management Team.

Job requirements

  • Education at Bachelor (HBO) or University level in Finance, Accounting or Economics; professional certification is a plus.

  • 10+ years experience in an international (production) company of which 3+ years in an FP&A and/or Business Controlling role.

  • Ability to think creatively, highly-driven and self-motivated and enjoys working in fast paced, growth, entrepreneurial organization.

  • Hands-on experience managing direct and indirect teams and to build and improve processes; able to solve problems and overcome adversities.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision and effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

  • Experience with and knowledge of relevant finance and compliance regulations like IFRS and/or US GAAP; maintains highest standards of accuracy and precision.

  • Excellent knowledge of spoken and written English; knowledge Dutch is a plus.

  • Ability to travel to Envipco’s locations.
