Summer Student - Finance

About the Role

Envipco is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Summer Student – Finance to support the finance team during a critical period of operational support, data cleanup, reporting enhancement, and preparation for future ERP implementations. This role is well suited for a student with a strong interest in accounting, financial reporting, data quality, and finance operations, who is eager to gain hands-on experience in a publicly listed, international manufacturing company.

The Summer Student will support day-to-day finance activities for several European entities while also contributing to data clean-up initiatives and ERP readiness. The role combines operational accounting support with structured data and master data improvement work.

Tasks

• Support reformatting, redesign, and consistency reviews of financial reporting outputs, including Annual Report schedules where required.

• Assist with master data cleanup and maintenance (vendor and customer master data, VAT numbers, addresses, and other reference data).

• Support vendor and customer invoice processing and credit card expense administration.

• Assist with data gathering and preparation for VAT filings for external accounting firms.

• Perform data validation, reconciliation, and cleanup across accounting and finance datasets to improve data quality and ERP readiness.

• Support filing, scanning, storage, and retrieval of financial documentation.

• Provide ad-hoc administrative and finance support as required by the finance team.

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field.

• Strong interest in financial reporting, accounting data, and systems/process improvement.

• Solid Excel skills; experience working with large datasets or structured reporting is an advantage.

• High attention to detail with the ability to work accurately and methodically on data-intensive tasks.

• Analytical mindset with the ability to identify patterns, inconsistencies, and improvement opportunities.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
